AKA Contracting Company was commissioned to transform an existing dry storage facility into a fully functional temperature-controlled warehouse, covering an area of 15,000 square meters. This conversion project was designed to meet the client’s specialized storage requirements, ensuring precise climate control for sensitive goods.
The scope of the project included the design, supply, and installation of 22 high-capacity packaged units, each with a cooling capacity of 30 tons. All units were installed on custom-engineered steel platforms, supported by a comprehensive ducting and electrical infrastructure to guarantee system efficiency and operational reliability.
Scope of work and services provided:
- ○ Design and conversion of a 15,000 m² dry warehouse into a temperature-controlled facility
- ○ Supply and installation of 22 x 30-ton packaged HVAC units
- ○ Fabrication and erection of structural steel platforms to support HVAC units
- ○ Installation of fiber ducting system to ensure efficient air distribution
- ○ Execution of complete electrical works for system integration and operation
